The future of Africa terrifies us. We are convinced that the entire continent is lost in a vortex of misery and destruction from which there will be no return. The biblical saying then comes to mind: “The last will be first”.

Il futuro dell’Africa ci terrorizza. Siamo convinti che l’intero continente è oramai perduto in un vortice di miseria e distruzione dal quale non ci sarà un ritorno. Mi viene allora in mente il detto biblico: “Gli ultimi saranno i primi”.

Die Zukunft Afrikas macht uns Angst. Wir sind davon überzeugt, dass der gesamte Kontinent in einem Strudel aus Elend und Zerstörung versunken ist, aus dem es kein Zurück mehr gibt. Dann fällt mir das biblische Sprichwort ein: „Die Letzten werden die Ersten sein.“
